My Philosophy
Feng Shui is a wonderful practice to utilize when looking for a positive shift in your life; career, travel, relationships, family, prosperity, health, and general well-being, all which can be positively effected by good energy flow.
It isn't magic, or superstition, or attached to any particular religious belief- rather it should be seen as a tool to help you amplify all of the good things life has to offer.
The universal law of attraction works in harmony with Feng Shui to create the things we focus on most. The two work in harmony with one another, and actually amplify each others results.
If you believe in the philosophy of "What you think about most, you create" as seen in the movie "The Secret" and spoken about often by people who have successfully utilized the practice such as Oprah Winfrey, Jack Canfield, then Feng Shui will be a wonderful addition to your life.
Another important aspect of this ancient concept that everything in this world is made up of energy; You, me, a home, a piece of furniture, and even your thoughts and words carry an energetic imprint. I'm sure you've experienced talking to someone who is angry, upset or annoyed and you can instantly detect the negative vibrations they are creating. They are probably speaking negatively too, and after a few minutes you may feel you own energy start to shift into a darker more negative place. The same is true when you are around people that are happy, enthusiastic, and creative- they will inspire you and probably make you smile too.
Oprah Winfrey is a great example of someone who pays close attention to the energy of people, places and things that surround her. During a 2011 interview with Piers Morgan, Oprah said "I am very careful about the energy of my space, and careful about the energy that people bring into my space."
