Meet Tamara, San Diego's Home Enhancement Specialist
A bit about my background:
I’m a proud second generation San Diego native. I just love this city and everything it has developed into over the last twenty years. Although I’ve traveled extensively, I have yet to find a place that feels more like “me” than this beautiful city.
After earning my degrees in psychology and communications from San Diego State University, I embarked on a very successful career in advertising and marketing. I spent a total of 15 years working with clients in every sort of business, from auto dealerships to health clubs to restaurants. I really honed my listening and presentation skills during this time, and learned about balance, proportion and good design.
Having a sound business background serves me very well in the business of interior design, since they actually teach very little of the 'real world stuff' in design school. Adding Feng Shui to the mix makes me unique in the design world since they rarely broach the subject of holistic design, or the energy flow and proper balance of our living environments for the benefit of the people who occupy them.
Blending modern Environmental Psychology and ancient Feng Shui practices make my services uniquely 'normal' in a field that can sometimes have a reputation as being 'Woo-Woo'. You will find I listen closely to what works for you, and work side by side with you to develop a plan for your space that represents your journey, past-present-and future!
