At Southcoast FS Design we take a more personal approach to designing your space, and it shows!  From our first meeting, to discussing finishes and furnishings for your home, we make sure your purchases not only reflect your taste and style, but that they also 'work' for you.  Most of all, we take our time to make sure the concepts of comfort, ease, use-ability, and flow are all concepts we incorporate into every chair, bedroom, office and drapery we purchase with you.

Why consider a Feng Shui designer?

Feng Shui interior design is about paying attention to the details of your surroundings, and how they will effect you in your home or office. Instead of purchasing an item solely because it will fit in the space and it is aesthetically pleasing, we make sure the piece is the right shape (good ergonomics = happier, healthier home).  

We also explain WHY we choose things for you and how the meaning behind the items can enhance your space/life/happiness.

If you are more comfortable calling it Environmental Psychology or Design Psychology, go ahead.  It's really all the same thing (with a few minor tweaks).  The goal is to make sure you LOVE your space, that it functions well for you, and that it supports you and your family as your move forward in life.

Fees:

Design fees can be hourly, or an estimated percentage of your over-all budget. Sometimes it's a combination of both, depending on what works for you.  I work hard to get find amazing pieces at good prices, and typically save my clients 10% from showroom/retail prices.
